    After your Xbox 360 no longer flashing red, before you do anything else, what you’re going to want to do is to unplug the system from the power. This will make sure that the red rings are gone permanently.

    If the red ring is gone, and your Xbox 360 is running properly, you can definitely access Xbox Live. If your Xbox Live is not working, you would definitely want to check your connection. To check your connection, either check the wireless adapter itself, or if you have anything else connected, make sure it is working correctly.
