How do I fix 3 flashing red lights on the front of an Xbox 360?

I have an Xbox 360 and for some reason 3 out of 4 lights on the front of the Xbox are flashing red. I was just wondering if there is a way I can fix it. Please help if you know how.

    I believe that is what’s called the “ring of death” and your xbox may need to be replaced.

    Call 1-800-4my-xbox to get it serviced.

    those red lights are called the ring of death. it means your xbox 360 has a programming error and needs serviced.
    1-800- myxbox is the service number and as them when you can get your system swapted for a new one.

    I think I have told 20 people this today, but it makes sense to start simple. I had the ring of death happen to me, and I unplugged EVERYTHING from the back, and then plugged it all back in. Something wasn’t seated right and was causing a short. Have not had the ring of death since….

    THIS MIGHT SOUND CRAZY . UNPLUG YOUR XBOX AND REMOVE THE HARD DRIVE. NOW PLUG IT BACK UP AND TURN IT ON YOU WILL STILL HAVE THE RED LIGHTS. NOW WRAP IT IN A BLANKET COMPLETELY WITH IT STILL TURNED ON. LEAVE IT WRAPED FOR 45 MINUTES. NOW UNWRAP IT TURN IT OFF AND UNPLUG IT. YOUR XBOX360 WILL BE VERY HOT NOW LET IT COOL OFF FOR 20 MINUTES. NOW RECONNECT THE HARD DRIVE AND RECONNECT EVERYTHING TURN IT ON AND YOU WILL HAVE GREEN LIGHTS AND EVERYTHING WILL WORK.

    If you have an x box warranty they may fix it for free, or give you a new x box 360 elite Hope you have a warranty.
