How do I fix an Xbox(Not a 360) that has the red ring?

It does red-ring. See, I play teh KOTOR games and such. So, i was playing it and suddenly my Xbox froze. So, I tried getting my disc and suddenly, the ring flashes red. So, i call customer support like it says after a moment on-screen. So, after talking to them, and them having no idea what I was talking about, I’ve put it in storage. So I wanted to play the games recently and hooked it up, hoping it was working now. A no-go. It flashes red again.

xbox is unreliable so you should save for a ps3

the thing is… do you have one, two, three, or four red lights??
they each have their own meaning, so i don’t know what troubleshooting steps to offer you.
either way, for EACH issue there’s an article on xbox.com or on microsoft to troubleshoot it. Try it out, then if those don’t work just call back for support. You might have sadly gotten a bad agent. =(
