How long does it take for the xbox repair box to come to your house?

About a week ago I called in for a repair for my red ring of death and the stupid box still hasn’t come to my house. I am assuming they got my address down right when i told it to him (he sounded very foreign) How long does it normally take for the box to arrive? Should i call in to check? Also, i cant check online because their stupid registration thing is down.

Yeah, Live is having problems, because of lots of people online for the holidays..
90,000 people alone on Halo 3 in the slayer gametype lol.
It probably is shipped by normal ground or air. Meaning 1-2 weeks. But it’s the holidays… Give it more time than expected.

It sounds like you did yours over the phone, which was a mistake, and it also the reason you can’t check online. They have a way of doing the repair online, and after you finish they give you your tracker number. It took me about two weeks to get mine. It actually ended up being a whole new one, which is likey what you’ll have as well. They also dont ship the package on weekend including fridays, so you have to take that into effect as well.

I couldn’t send mine to msft bcse I have opened it and Mcsft wouldn’t even look at it. I sent it to 360 Pros in NY and had it back in one week for 89.00 w 1 yr warranty. Can’t beat that!
Oh, 360 Pros do speak cristal clear english!

They should have sent you a box by now. If it still hasn’t arrived, I would suggest calling in, explain that you haven’t received your repair box, and ask for another one.
When that box arrives, it will have instructions on how you should package your xbox. Send it in and wait. It takes anywhere between 2 to 6 weeks for another xbox to get back to you.
And I don’t know if you would want to do this or not, but there is this thing called the towel trick and it cures the Red Ring of Death. Some people get the ring again but they just do the towel trick again.
Anyways, before you do it, take off the hard drive, disconnect any cables [expcet the one that provides power], and take out any discs.
Then, wrap your xbox in 2 to 3 towels and turn it on. Leave it on for 20 minutes or so. (some xboxes turn off every 5 or ten minutes so keep an eye on it to make sure it stays on.)
After 20 minutes unwrap the xbox and turn it off. Let it cool down for 10 to 15 minutes.
Then turn on it on, and it should be okay.
