Get in touch with Microsoft for a replacement. Its a fault with the Xbox 360 - Microsoft know about it and will replace free of charge xxxx

It means there is a hardware issue.. loose heatsink, power cord not connected properly, etc.
The only thing you can do is contact Microsoft and they’ll send you a new machine.. They extended the warranty on all xbox’s with the RROD (red rings of death) by 3 years.

That is the dreaded red ring of death…you will have to call microsoft for them to fix it…happened to me too…it bites

That is what you call “the ring of death” my friend. It’s a problem with the actual 360 that you can’t fix by yourself. It’s under warranty since so many people have had the same problem. Call 1-800-4-MY-XBOX. It’s the official xbox help line. They will help you send it in and get it fixed free of charge. Good luck!

Ok,
You Need To Turn it off Pullout plug and wait 10 minutes
after u put it back in if u still see red rings you need to buy a Fan or bring it back to microsft

When I had that problem, I sent my 360 to Microsoft, and they sent me a new one along with either a new game or an Xbox Live Gold membership.

call microsft it might only take a week. thats how long mine took and dont try to fix it yourself cause if u break the sticker or what ever u have in there they will not fix it. cause that is a tamper proof to see if u got some moron to try fix it themself. and they will void your warranty so just call the number that almost everyone gave u. cause my friend tried to fix it himself and they looked in there and what ever they put in there to see if people are screwing with it was broke. they sent if a letter saying that he is going to pay 150 dollars cause he tried to fix it himself

Hi
This means that you have a general hadware failure and the reason is down to the GPU and the cpu taking too much heat.
The soldering that holds them together becomes loose and snaps off and that is when you see the lights of doom.
The good news is that microsoft will fix this for free!
It can take about 6 weeks to get it repaired though.
Hope you get it sorted soon!
