Somebody please help, this is driving me crazy…. I have had Xbox live for 3 years now and this has never been a problem. I play on a wireless connection using the xbox 360 wireless networking adapter which works fine btw. Anyways, I have had this problem with the IP address now and then and all I have to do is unplug my netgear router (WGR614v7) and plug it back in and voila, I’m ready to play again. Now I’ve had this problem for over a week, and nothing seems to work. I have tried manually inputting my ip address, subnet mask, and dns server digits and it still fails. I have unplugged the modem along with the router numerous times, while having the other computers in the house disconnected from the network. I hooked my 360 into a room I used to play in and the problem still occured. On the wireless connection screen it shows a 3 bar connection but just fails the ip test. Is there some certain order I am supposed to unplug the routers or what? Help is much appreciated. Thx
