I called them and they said i didn’t have warranty on it. But it says specifically on Xbox 360 support that for that problem they have a 3 year warranty and the 360 hasn’t been out for 3 years yet. How can i get them to fix it for free like they are suppose to?

Yes, they’re suppose to send you a replacement one.
Call 1-800-4MY-XBOX. You need to give them your Xbox 360 serial nos.

Sorry to be the one to tell you this, but it’s broken. Try jogging in the meantime, these video games have not been good to your midsection.

hi mate i had the same problem with mine the whole 3 lights thing is just microsoft trying to get more money out of us, mine was 13 months old and they said no way soi paid 99p from a guy on ebay that will send you a ebook listing every trick in the book to fix it but only 80% of 3 light problems can be fixed as the definition of the 3 red lights is a hardware faliure so only certain parts of the hardware can be fixed. good luck mate, if you get it sorted give me a shout online my gamertag is deanibop

My fella had an error on his 360. The lights around the on/off button were all red when he switched it on & that’s as far as it went. He rang Game about it, cos that’s where I bought it from, and they swapped it, no problem. Maybe try the shop first, then if no joy, send a letter to Microsoft including a copy of their words in black & white and ask why they are not honoring their warranty.

if its not out of warranty then they will have to fix it, call them back, and talk to someone different maybe you will have better luck

call them back and tell them you have the 3 red lights and make sure your power brick’s light is green as well when you have the xbox on, if not, they may talk you through some options you can try to fix it
here are some things to try before they tell you the same stuff
THINGS TO TRY
Try restarting the console.
If restarting the console does not resolve the behavior, follow these steps:
Turn the console off.
Unplug all the power and AV cables from the console.
Unplug the power cord from the wall socket.
Firmly reconnect all the cables.
Turn on the console.
If these steps do not resolve the behavior, turn the console off, remove the hard drive, and then turn on the console. If the 3x Red LED error light is no longer displayed, turn the console off, re-attach the hard drive, and then turn on the console.
Also examine the lights on the power supply. When you turn on the console, the power supply light should illuminate green even if the three lights on the RoL flash red.
the the power brick light is yellow or red, there is a guide on the xbox.com that will help, I’ll post it later if I can find it
