What can I do to help my xbox 360 stop bogging in a game?

I have rainbow six vegas 2 for the Xbox 360 and when Im in a single player campaighn my xbox gets boggy..kind of like in slow motion on the game. I tried my hard drive and my game in another xbox 360 and it did the same thing. Is it my hard drive? What can I do to fix it?

the most likely reasons are, you have too much stuff on your hard drive slowing it down, or the disk you are using is scratched/dirty.
