what could be reason for my xbox 360 showin red circle lights and not powering. how do i remedy it?

    are all 4 rings lit, or just 3? I would recommend calling 1-800-4-MY-XBOX for help. You may have to send it in.

    the ring of death…that sucks…like that guy said, call the company and you’ll have to go through the whole shipping business which takes forever to get back. Microsoft customer service is horrible.

    You’ll have to pay if you didn’t get any coverage on your 360, i believe its around 100 dollars, and if you just bought your 360 then you’ll have coverage for the first 3 moths.

    I think they said something about the first shipments of 360’s being free for repair or something like that, so if you bought your 360 when it came out i would look into that.

    I think I got a similar red ring once when the video cord wasn’t all the way plugged in. Double check that all of the cords are securely inserted.

    I hope you don’ t have a defective xbox, that would not be fun!
