It’s not the red ring of death, so try again later to see if it has sorted itself out.

And Microsoft extended it’s warranty on ALL Xbox 360s to 3 years - so why don’t you have warranty?

It depends…2 red lights means overheating, 3 red lights means hardware failure and is called the red ring of death, 2 red lights means it cannot detect your AV cable (that goes from 360 to TV). ALL 360’s are under warranty for 3 years from the date of purchase to cover the 3 red lights. IF you have 3 red lights, it IS under warranty (a free warranty, you didn’t buy it…Microsoft simply gives it to all 360s). If that’s the problem, call 18004MYXBOX for repair. If it’s less than a year old, it has a warranty (again…free from Microsoft) that covers ALL problems (not just the 3 red lights). Even if it’s not under warranty, Microsoft will repair, but you will have to pay. Good luck.

if there are four red lights instead of three that means your colored wires aren’t plugged in
