I asked a question about 1-3 weeks back, and it was very helpful. However, if my serial number is different from my original, what does it mean?

Am I getting a new Xbox, or is it just a DIFFERENT Xbox that is refurbished?

They need your recepe, in order to get factory repair, you must be the original order of the system and is not expire you warrantly time.

Its just a Refurbished one. Not new. I had mine brand new at home 10 days before I had to send it in. Then I got another in the mail. I found out it was not new but Refurbished. I was very upset. If I wanted a Refurbished XBox360 I would have paid 150$ less to get one. They still cover it under warranty but still, I was mad.

It means that they were too lazy to fix it and they are sending you a refurbished unit.
