What is the best way for me to fix the red ring of death error on Xbox 360?
November 25th, 2008 | by xboxrepair |Chamagol asked:
I had the 1 red ring and e74 message and I tried the towel trick and got the red rings of death error. I tried the towel trick again and it work for 2 days. I got the red rings of death again so I tried the towel trick again. It didn’t work. 3 days later I tried again and now, it works on and off and only for a couple of minutes. Any suggestions to fix my problem?

The only thing I can think of is just to email microsoft about it and mail your 360 to them.

DONT send it back first wrap it in 3 or 4 towels and leave it on for 10-15 mins this will heat the solder in it and the chip will move slightly just the 1 though it will not break when u take towels off leave it to cool and turn it off at the mains once it is working again you can thank me and give me best answer
