i just purched a xbox 360 and got the three red lights. i got to youtube and they tell me thats the three deadly lights.does any body know what to do when i get thoes lights. should i call microsoft. what is there number. do they repair them for free. and does xbox 360 arcade has a hardrive. if not can i put one . pleazzzzzzzzzzzzz answer my question.

    1. There is a 3 year manufacturer’s warranty for the Red Ring of Death. Call Microsoft and they will arrange for you to ship it in to them for repair.

    2. No, the Arcade does not have a hard drive. It has a 256MB memory card.

    3. Yes, you can buy a hard drive to attach to an Arcade.

    Well, if your xbox is under 3 years old, and hasnt been tamperd with in any way, just look on the internet for the number and tell them you got the 3 lights. This is free cus so many people have has it.

    For your second Q, no arcades dont have a hard drive, but u can buy one and put it on, it just clips onto the top.

    when your xbox 360 lights go red, there is obviously something wrong with it.
    the most common solution people turn to is sending in the 360 to get it repaired by microsoft. i personally disagree with this option as
    1. you run the risk of damaging the xbox MUCH more during shipping,
    and
    2. its expensive and slow.
    ive found a much better and less expensive solution.
    this site shows you exactly how to fix your red light problem, i bought the info and got my xbox up and running in less than 2 hours :]
