xbox 360 red lights
ryan b asked:

I bought an xbox 360 off of ebay and it turns out to have the 3 red lights, and the warranty seal is broken. Will microsoft fix it or will I have to pay for it? If you don’t have any experience with this, then please don’t answer.

If your warranty seal is broken, MS will not fix it for you for free. I don’t think MS is even going to fix it, even if you offer to pay.

I would call 1-800-4MY-XBOX and ask if MS will fix it even though you have the broken warranty seal. If MS won’t fix it, try the towel trick. At this point, you really have nothing to lose. If MS will fix it, then don’t do the towel trick.

Call 1-800-4-my-xbox and ask. They’re quite helpful. I don’t know what a waranty seal is, but if you have the number on the back it should be okay (I’d asume)
