    call 1-800-4MY-XBOX
they should be able to help you.

Your problem depends on the number of rings, if there’s 3 red rings, chances are you’ll have to send in your console to Microsoft.

3 red rings of light its the red ring of death(rrod) commin in xbox 360s with hardware problem, poorly made. if this happen your screwed and have to send it to microsoft for repair, going to take 2 weeks - 2 month to get back, for me 3 weeks. also if u opened it up u voided the warranty and your basically stuck with the broken 360 forever.

You can maybe return it for a new one if the warranty is not out of date

Opening your Xbox was probably a terrible idea. It voids the warranty.

Normally with this (sadly) common problem with 360’s, you can call Microsoft and send it in to them to have it repaired. As many times as you have to.

But by opening the XBox yourself, you have likely void the warranty and they may not allow you to send it in for repairs. Then again, maybe they will.

    Try calling 1-800-4MY-XBOX for assistance.
