If it’s 2 lights, then it’s overheating, so just turn your 360 off and let it cool down.
If it happens during a certain part of the game every time, then it’s the game.

That’s the red light of doom.
If there are 4 lights: your A/V cable is not connected.
But 3 lights, it overheated and you might have to return it.

If the xbox has one red light on the top left that is not lit that means that you have a system melt down and you have to call and send your xbox into Microsoft. Sorry!!!

man i know how you feel. same thing happened to me. but theres hope. me and my little brother signed up for this site and got an xbox elite for doing one free trial offer. he got his 360 in 6 days and i got mine in 8 days. hope this works. heres the sign up link.
