i just got a wireless adaptor for my xbox and i put the router in my parents/computer room hooked it up to the modem and the light is green on the adaptor but its all slow and it keeps logging me off. is something wrong with xbox live or what?

no, well maybe, but the problem i believe you have is that the router you are using may not be powerful enough. there are some routers that actually can not handle the internet capacity the xbox needs. some also have firewalls that wont allow any connections to last very long. So if you do some research, you may be able to fix the problem. otherwise youll have to purchase a new, and more powerful wireless router
