If all of the rings are flashing take all the plugs out and put them in tightly again. If there are 3 rings you have the RRoD and that means a system failure. You’ll have to send it in for that. Just reconnect everything after taking it out. If that doesn’t work call 1-800-4MY-XBOX.

ERROR: You have to send it to Microsoft. They will fix it for you. Go to.
Microsoft should do it free cuz it happens a lot.

if 3 red lights are on the 360 then that means your xbox have malfunctioned.

there is no way of fixing it, just send it back to microsoft and hope that they could give u a refund for a new 1

    best luck to you

the rings on your xbox mean that you have the ring of death and you should call 1-800-4myxbox tel them that you have the ring of death and they can tell you to ship it in for free and they will fix it for you. about 3 weeks to a month depending on where you live….

I hope this was a recent purchase & you still have the receipt because the red circle usually means that the xbox, while not necessarily dead, is now in a vegetative state. It doesn’t work anymore does it?

it means you have to call them tell them they send you a box you send it back with the console they “fix” it and send it back. As long as your waranty hasnt run out… call them asap

The red circle means different things depending on how much of the circle exactly is red. If it’s all four quarters of the circle, then all you need to do is plug the cord that goes between your tv and the xbox in more tightly on the xbox side.

If it’s only three of the four quarters that’s flashing, then you have whats called the three red light error or Red Ring of Death. This is caused by a general hardware failure and is most likely not your fault.

It happens to a lof of Xbox 360s. 30% last I heard.

If it’s still under warranty and you have all your purchase details call 1800 4 MY XBOX.

If your hubby is pretty diy savvy he could fix it himself like I did. My blog shows you how.

I had the 3 ring of death error. If you still have a warranty send it to Micro$oft, mine was out of warranty, plus I didnt want to wait 4 weeks to get it back from them, plus i read you may not even get your own system back or have to pay like $140. I found this place recommended in another forum and gave it a shot, I payed less than half of Micro$oft got my own console back and I got it back in a week, I think it was like 45 bucks… pretty reasonable, its been working perfect ever since (3 months now) Id say give it a shot click on the repair section, hope this helps!
